You are listening to the Motherhood to Unstress podcast and I'm your host Liz Carlile.
Thank you so much for joining me for another guided meditation.
To sink in,
To connect,
To remember who you really are.
I'm just a facilitator,
You are the one who's doing the work.
Let's slide into a deeper state of relaxation together by doing some gentle breathing as one.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
Hold and release.
Deep breath in.
Hold and release.
Hold it and release.
Deep breath in.
Hold it and release.
Last one together,
Deep breath in.
One more sip.
Hold and release.
Push,
Push,
Push.
Push,
Push,
Push again.
And breathe.
Sink down into your body,
Into the floor.
And as you relax and feel your body become aware of your blood,
Your heart beating,
Regulating the aliveness within,
Promoting a sense of calm and rhythm and knowing.
You don't have to think about breathing or digesting.
Breathing has its own intelligent design and it wants to be in the state of rest and restoration.
Your body craves that.
Thank you for allowing your body to come home,
To breathe,
To sink in,
To stop the racing thoughts,
To question what you believe.
What's true.
What's real.
And by doing that,
Giving yourself the power to see what's not real,
To override negative thoughts that come as quickly as they go.
One of the best ways to do this is to get quiet,
Is to sink into your breath.
And if you hear something or think something,
Call it out as simply a thought,
One that you can choose to believe or not.
Check with your own heart first.
Question why you would think that was true or not.
In life,
We can always know simply by asking our higher selves.
Rest in that knowing.
Understand that you're aware of far more than you realize.
And that your power comes from a loving heart and a confidence in your own ability to navigate the waters of life.
You are capable.
You are divinely intelligent.
Our ancestors live within you,
All of their knowledge,
All of their intuition and strength.
It's alive,
Moving through your body right now.
And with your breath,
You can remember,
And with your senses,
You can feel it.
Sink into the floor for the next minute or two.
Rest in your animal body.
And as you ground,
Bring your attention through every chakra,
Leading from the base of the floor,
Through your hips,
To your belly,
To your heart,
To your throat,
To your third eye,
To your crown.
Picture it like you're turning on lights as you go.
And each light is a spinning ball of energy.
Stay rooted,
But expand,
Lighting your entire body and the space around your body as you go.
And when it's time to come out,
I'll let you know.
Sink in.
May you You You You Bring some movement back into your body gently roll your wrists Roll your ankles Do some cat cows spine extension like the Halloween cat on a fence And then dip it low Stretching your ribs spinal column bringing in air To all of your cells Not only have you just released tension You've given your body the chance to heal on a cellular level Flutter your eyes open breathe in deeply with me one last time And let everything go Thank you for doing the work I Hope it made you feel better today And every day you can always come back whenever you need a break Until next week namaste
