This week we will be focusing on the felt experience of pure consciousness's ability to accept and allow any and all emotions as an immediate habitual reaction, this immediate integration and ability to feel emotion without mind activity ensures we can fully process emotion and be at peace when ordinarily we would be lost in psychological suffering.
Even the emotions ordinarily most distressing for us. Through the practice of compassionate welcoming and total acceptance we will realise the ability each of us has to fully accept and integrate even the emotions that are ordinarily the most distasteful for us and result in internal and external dysfunction. In this session we practice emotional accuracy, emotional distress tolerance and the deep shadow work of inviting repressed emotions out of their hiding place.
The discussion that follows the meditation is always one filled with compassion, love and camaraderie as so many people on their own healing journeys share experiences, insights and questions.
If you struggle with a particular emotion or are engaged in the process of trying to come into direct contact with shadow material you will find profound relief through this beautifully natural and simple practice, letting go of all control and relieving the usual pressures of trying to figure out 'what to do with' these difficult, unpleasant and uncomfortable emotions
Through a neutral and loving acceptance of all emotions we may discover ancient emotions we have long since buried as they feel safe to arise into the space of consciousness. As we develop a new understanding of the way emotion can be experienced we become liberated from the effects of our habitual attempts to constrain, restrict and bind emotions, the freedom from suffering arises here as we deeply realise there was never any need to suppress or avoid any emotion, they are all perfectly fine just as they are.
In these sessions we learn techniques and practices to uncover and integrate the deeply repressed emotional material that ordinarily remains hidden from the light of consciousness. Please be aware that this requires a courageous willingness to vividly experience emotion that is ordinarily unpalatable and uncomfortable for us and so I want to give a fair caution ahead of time so you know what to expect.
Through guidance, new understandings and practices alongside the compassion and care of the participating group we can safely expose this 'Shadow' material into the light of pure consciousness, this drastically alters the emotional word of the individual as a powerful new sense of emotional safety is developed, the ability to tolerate all emotions and become at peace with them creates an energetic shift in the individual that has remarkably rapid positive transformational effects on emotional wellbeing. The techniques delivered in this session are designed to develop a powerful and permanent resilience to ones own inner emotional world, by doing so we invite and welcome even the most long-buried emotions to the surface and therein discover the source of many of our dysfunctions and dissatisfaction in life.
