Postpartum Yoga [Copied]
With Mitalee Jain
This postnatal yoga program is thoughtfully designed to support new mothers in their journey of healing and recovery after childbirth. The practice includes Asanas (yoga postures), Pranayama (breathing techniques), Dhyana (meditation), and Yoga Nidra (Non-Sleep Deep Rest), creating a holistic approach to both physical and emotional well-being.
The focus is on gently strengthening the core, back, pelvic floor, and upper body to help improve posture and build the strength needed for everyday activities such as holding and caring for your baby. Special attention is given to addressing common postpartum concerns like back pain, joint pain, pelvic discomfort, and overall muscular weakness, while encouraging safe and mindful movement.
Along with physical recovery, the sessions place strong emphasis on relaxation and mental health. Through guided meditation and Yoga Nidra, the practice helps improve sleep quality, reduce fatigue, and ease the effects of postpartum blues, allowing you to feel more balanced, rested, and supported during this important phase of motherhood.
Note: To join the program, participants should be at least 6 weeks post vaginal birth or 10 weeks post caesarean birth, and must have medical clearance from their healthcare provider to ensure a safe and supportive practice.
