Classical/ Rāja Yoga [Copied]
With Ingrid van Oostrom
Last session until March! Yoga, often translated as one-ness or unity, is a discipline that fosters a deep connection with oneself, others, and the world. Regular practice brings awareness to the connection between body, mind, and spirit. This class (classical yoga also known as traditional or raja yoga) goes beyond 'just' physical postures to nurture a deep and spiritual connection with your true self. Through a mix of practices such as asana, pranayama, meditation, mantra, and philosophy I guide you to connect with yourself - body, mind, and spirit - in the here and now. Before joining please have a mat, water, blanket, pillow, and any appropriate props ready. Please make sure to wear enough layers to stay warm. You are responsible for yourself. Yoga is all about facing discomfort, leaning into it to build resilience, strength, love, and liberation. Please make sure you are physically and mentally fit to join this class. Honour your body, mind, and spirit. Allow roughly 2 to 3 minutes over time. I hope to see you on the mat! PS. If you enjoyed the session and are financially able, donations are deeply appreciated - they help to keep these sessions going
