The Pull of Desire — A Yoga Nidra on Rāga (Attachment)
With Leslie DMello
Why is it that even when we get what we want… it doesn’t last?
In Yoga philosophy, this is called Rāga — the third of the five Kleshas (afflictions) described in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. It is the attachment to pleasure — the subtle movement of the mind that says, “I want more… I need this… this must stay.”
In this session, we explore how craving quietly shapes our experience — not just in big desires, but in everyday moments. Through a short, story-led talk, you’ll begin to recognize the patterns of reaching, holding, and anticipating that often go unnoticed.
This is followed by a deeply immersive Yoga Nidra practice, guiding you to experience fully… without clinging — to feel… without needing to hold.
No experience needed. Come as you are… and discover the freedom of letting go.
