Grief: Mourning What Never Was
With Allonia Water
You have to grieve the mother you needed but didn't have. This grief is sacred. It's not about blame or bitterness—it's about acknowledging the loss of what should have been and wasn't. In this circle, we create space to mourn. To cry. To feel the weight of what we didn't receive. Some of you had mothers who tried but couldn't. Some had mothers who didn't try. Some had mothers who harmed them. All of it deserves to be grieved. You can love your mother and still grieve what she couldn't give you. Both can be true. This session includes a grounding meditation to hold your inner child and distance Reiki to support you through the heaviness. Bring your journal, tissues, and permission to feel. All women are welcome here. Homework: Grieve this week. Let yourself cry. Journal. Scream into a pillow. Move the grief through your body. Don't rush this.
