Cultivating Calm - 2 Year Anniversary :)

Gift yourself a break to show some love to your nervous system. In this session we call upon science based tools and lean into the worlds of poly vagal theory & Chinese Medicine. We will be working with the breath, self-massage, exercises for the vagus nerve and acupressure. Let's welcome in peace, and release anything no longer serving us. Ideally the practice is done seated. The session will last 1-1.5 hours.
Gentle suggestions:
- Dress as comfortably as possible.
- Sitting on a pillow can help support the hips
- Take a moment to set up your space by lighting a candle or incense.
- We will massage the feet near the end of practice, using some moisturizer or oil can be nice.
- This is your practice. Always listen to your body and go at your own pace.
