Restorative Pilates - Feet Our Foundation [Copied]

Welcome to Restorative Pilates. In this week's class we will do a little foot opening workshop. Releasing, strengthening and developing awareness of our alignment. Between shoes and a concrete filled world, supporting our bodies and providing stability & balance, we need to give a little time and love to our fabulous feet. A sharpie pen (or something similar) and a thick rubber band (like the ones on broccoli & veggies) will be our primary props for today. In this ongoing Restorative Pilates classes we will explore some of the lesser known but incredibly valuable principles of Pilates: Breath, Concentration, Centering, Mindfulness and Flow. Learn simple ways to dial into and become more present in your body’s alignment. Finding strength & balance while releasing stuck energies, gives your system an opportunity to reboot; spirit, mind & body. PROPS (to have on hand that we cycle through): Roller, Pinky Ball, Theraband, Gertie Ball, light weights (under 5 lbs). Find a blank wall and floor space to roll out on where you can still view the class online.
