Friday Morning Meditation
With Hearon Dickson
In this weekly class we will do a 15-20 minute guided meditation with a typical format being settling into awareness on the breath, doing a body scan, and practicing loving kindness. These are 3 of the 4 classical types of meditation. Scientifically documented benefits of meditation include reduced stress, lowered blood pressure, and improved sleep. Additional research touts the benefits of meditating with a group.
