Before the Horse Runs: A Six-Week Flow and Release Series

This six-week series serves as a preparatory clearing period before the Year of the Horse begins. The focus is on shedding what is no longer necessary mentally, emotionally, and physically, so you are not carrying excess anything into a cycle that calls for movement, clarity, and momentum.
Each class opens with a 20-minute all-levels-friendly yoga flow focused on gentle movement and stretching. This portion of the class is designed to help you arrive in your body, release surface tension, and prepare the nervous system for deeper internal work. The flow is accessible to all experience levels, with an emphasis on ease, breath, and awareness rather than performance.
Following the movement practice, the class transitions into 20 minutes of intentional weekly themes centered on decluttering your life. These themes focus on simplifying the mind, home, habits, and emotional landscape, helping you identify what is outdated, misaligned, or draining, and how to gently let it go.
Each session also includes five to ten minutes of guided journal prompts designed to help you connect with yourself more deeply, clarify perception, and recalibrate how you are viewing your life as you prepare for the months ahead.
Classes close with a five-minute grounding meditation to help integrate the work of the session and settle the body and mind before returning to daily life.
The series is intentionally structured so that each class stands on its own, making it easy to join at any point while still supporting a steady, cumulative process of release and preparation for the Year of the Horse.
Please bring a yoga mat, a bolster, a foam roller, a yoga strap, a journal, and a pen.
