Slow and Steady Unfold: Returning to Yoga with Intention [Copied]
With Maryam
Join me for a gentle, inclusive live session designed for anyone navigating a return to the mat. Following my own recovery from a broken ankle, I’ve found a profound lesson in patience and adaptation. I’m inviting you to join me as I transition back to practice—moving slowly, safely, and with deep intention.
In this 30–45 minute sessions, we focus on nourishing the body through mindful stretching, restorative breath-work, and grounding meditation. We prioritize spinal health and joint mobility, honouring where you are right now. Whether you are recovering from an injury, navigating a long break, or simply seeking a more intentional pace, this practice offers a soft landing.
This class serves as a morning start for the Americas, a midday reset for Europe and Africa, a sunset transition for Asia, and a peaceful wind-down for Australia. Let’s rediscover the foundations of movement and the power of stillness together.
What You’ll Need (Props)
To make this practice as supportive as possible, I recommend having the following nearby:
A sturdy chair (if you prefer not to sit on the floor).
A yoga block or a thick book to bring the floor to you.
A cushion or folded blanket for extra comfort while seated.
A strap or a long towel to assist with gentle stretching.
A bolster or pillows for our final grounding meditation.
If you don't have any of these please don't worry, you will be fine without them.
See you soon!
