Sleep Deeply: The "Tired but Wired" Reset
With Ian Melrose
Are you struggling to switch off for sleep? In the yogic tradition, insomnia is often seen as more than just a busy mind, it is believed to begin in the Pranamaya Kosha (the breath-energy layer) that bridges our body and thoughts.
When our breath tightens, our Prana (life-force energy) rises, and the heart centre can feel contracted. This often leads to that frustrating "tired but wired" state which, over time, can become a cycle of hyper-arousal.
I invite you to join me for this month's session of INsight~Nidra. Together, we will work to:
Relax the breath to settle the nervous system.
Open the heart center to release stored tension.
Restore Pranic (energy) flow, allowing the mind to follow the body into a state of rest.
I look forward to practicing with you and supporting your journey back to natural, effortless sleep.
