From Holding It Together to Letting Yourself Be Held
With Ashley Michelle Lauer
So many strong, capable women are tired — not because they’re doing life wrong, but because their nervous system learned to survive by holding everything alone.
If you’re the one who keeps it together, carries the emotional load, and rarely lets yourself fully rest or receive… this gentle live session is for you.
In this space, we’ll explore:
-Why your body stays in “holding it together” mode
-How your nervous system learned to self-contain instead of being supported
-What emotional safety actually feels like in the body
-And how to begin softening out of survival mode without forcing, fixing, or pushing yourself
You’ll be guided through a slow, grounding, nervous-system-based practice designed to help you shift from self-holding → being supported, and to reconnect with the felt sense of being held, safe, and allowed to soften.
This is not about becoming more positive or doing more work on yourself.
It’s about giving your body an experience of safety — because safety is what allows softness, rest, and receiving to happen naturally.
Come exactly as you are. There’s nothing to perform, achieve, or get right here. Just a gentle space to breathe, soften, and let yourself be supported for a while.
If this session feels nourishing and you’d like to continue in your own time, I’ll share a few gentle ways to go deeper — through my guided sleep and nervous system meditations, my micro-course Feeling Safe Enough to Be Feminine, and for those who want more personal support, my 1:1 spaces.
I’m really glad you’re here 🤍
