Sunday Metta Session - Short Talk and Guided Practice

Consider this your invitation to join me in a weekly practice of opening the heart and extending kindness to yourself and the world. Metta (also known as Loving Kindness meditation) invites a genuine intention of sending friendliness, of wanting ourselves well, coupled with focused awareness.
In this weekly session, I will guide you in a meditation during which you will repeat Loving Kindness wishes towards yourself, before turning to others, from loved ones, to challenging others, to all beings. Far from being a wish or a prayer, Mettā doesn’t ask us to change our actions after practice, yet with repetition and practice, it may radically transform how we relate to ourselves and others over time.
We will start with a short introduction, followed by setting an intention and a centring mindfulness practice, before going through a guided Loving Kindness meditation.
The meditation practice will start at ten past the hour for my regulars! I hope you'll join me for this nourishing and transformational meditation. 🙏🏼
