Coming Home: Settling Into Support
With Franchesca Stoyer
It’s easy to move through life slightly guarded—bracing, constricting, always just a little on alert. We can feel this guarding and armoring in the body through lifted shoulders, shallow breath, clenched jaw and tensed muscles.
This practice offers a chance to arrive more fully, gently acknowledge that armor, and open to the possibility of receiving support. Through steady, grounded movement and longer holds close to the earth, we’ll explore what it feels like to be held by the floor and supported by your own breath. This class is less about forcing release and more about allowing your body to recognize when it’s okay to soften.
Join Franchesca Stoyer for this experience of Coming Home, a gentle yoga practice for reconnecting with your wholeness, your inherent worth, and your authentic self.
*NOTE: For this class, please have a large towel or blanket and two pillows nearby to use as supportive props. These will help you feel more comfortable and supported as we settle into some of the poses.
