Why You Get Overwhelmed And How to Expand Your Capacity - Wednesday, February 18th, 2026 | 12pm PST / 3pm EST
Join me for a compassionate hour where we'll explore why certain situations send you into overwhelm or shutdown, and how to gradually expand your capacity to stay present and regulated even when life gets challenging.
During our time together, we'll explore:
(1) Understanding Your Window of Tolerance (10 minutes)
A simple explanation of your nervous system's "sweet spot", that zone where you feel capable and present, and what pulls you outside of it into anxiety or numbness. You'll understand why your window may be narrow and how trauma or chronic stress impacts your capacity.
(2) Practices to Widen Your Window (40 minutes)
Through gentle practices including grounding, pendulation, resource-building, and somatic tracking, you'll experience how to expand your capacity to handle stress and stay regulated. You'll learn to recognize when you're moving out of your window and how to gently return to center.
(3) Warm Q&A Space (10 minutes +)
Space to bring your questions and receive support for your unique nervous system.
This session will help you if you get easily overwhelmed, shut down under stress, or want to build more resilience in navigating life's challenges.
I look forward to being with you.
