Class 6 — Peace Is Not Judging
With Meredith Hooke
This week we explore the “judging mind,” the habit of instantly labeling people, situations, or even ourselves as good or bad. While discernment is useful, judgment quickly narrows our vision, preventing us from seeing complexity, kindness, or possibility. When we judge others or ourselves, compassion disappears, our heart closes and we feel disconnected — in short, it feels horrible. With the mantra Peace Is Not Judging, you’ll learn how to recognize this pattern and open to life with greater curiosity and compassion. Next week, we’ll continue with Peace Is Not Comparing, another common way the mind distracts us from the peace that is always here.
