Why We Eat Fast And What Slowing Down Actually Does
With Katharina Mäder
Most of us finish a meal before we've even really tasted it. We eat standing up, between tasks, in front of a screen, or simply faster than we realise.
And it's rarely about being greedy or undisciplined. It's usually about stress, habit, and a nervous system that never quite got the message that it's safe to slow down.
In this session we explore why pace matters, what's actually happening in the body when we eat fast, and what changes, physically and emotionally, when we give ourselves a little more time.
You'll then eat your own meal guided by gentle inputs, with nothing to get right.
Please bring something to eat, it doesn't matter what. :)
