Lenten Retreat: Walking with Christ through the Sorrowful Mysteries Day 5

With Carel-Piet van Eeden

The Crucifixion – Embracing the Love of the Cross Join us as we stand at the foot of the Cross, where Christ gave everything out of love. The Cross is not only a symbol of suffering—it is the ultimate sign of love, redemption, and the promise of resurrection. In this final session, we reflect on what it means to fully embrace God’s love, even in the face of pain and sacrifice. How do we live in the hope of the Cross? How do we allow this love to transform us? Come as you are—whether in sorrow, seeking renewal, or longing to deepen your understanding of Christ’s love. Let us stand together in faith, knowing that even in suffering, resurrection is near. Lent is a time of deep reflection, sacrifice, and spiritual renewal—a journey that mirrors Christ’s own path to the Cross. In this five-week retreat, we will walk with Christ through the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary, meditating on His suffering and the profound love that led Him to lay down His life for us. Each session will be a time of scripture, reflection, and prayer as we explore how the Sorrowful Mysteries speak to our own lives—our struggles, our perseverance, and our hope in the promise of resurrection. This is a sacred and inclusive space where all are welcome, no matter your spiritual background or where you are on your journey.
