Trauma-Informed Yoga: A Gentle Space to Return to Yourself
With Liza Colpa
This practice is designed to create a deeply supportive and gentle space—one where you can begin to feel safe in your body, your breath, and your experience. Rooted in somatics and trauma-informed principles, we’ll move slowly through intuitive, choice-based movement, paired with soft breath awareness and moments of silence. There is no pressure to perform, no expectation to do it “right.” You are always invited to listen to your body and move in ways that feel supportive to you. The intention of this class is simple yet powerful: to help you reconnect with a sense of safety—in your breath, in your movement, and in being fully yourself. Through invitation-only gentle guidance, we begin to rebuild trust with the body, creating space for connection, regulation, and ease. This is a practice of coming home to yourself, one breath, one movement at a time.
