So allowing yourself to get settled into your space,
Closing your eyes,
And just beginning by bringing your awareness to the connection between the bottom half of your body and the seat below you.
Perhaps noticing your back connected to the space as well.
And just allowing your awareness to drift into these four walls.
With these next few inhales and exhales,
See if you can allow your body just to begin to melt down into the space below you,
Almost as if the ground is completely holding the weight of your body.
And you allow yourself to sink a bit deeper below,
As if the energy of your body is merging with the earth.
Letting go of needing to do anything in particular here.
Just allowing the body to be soft and easy.
And beginning to turn all of your awareness inward.
Seeing if you can let go of any specific point or destination,
But just trying to feel your way to the opposite of the outer world.
Settling in,
Letting go.
And as best as you can,
See if you can kind of allow yourself to loosen your grip on your inner world.
As you sit here,
Rest,
See if you can just take your foot off the gas.
Not of anything occurring on the outside,
But just on your inner world.
Allowing the sensation of perhaps time slowing down to enter into your reality.
And as you begin to settle a bit deeper within,
We begin to change our relationship to the thinking occurring in the mind.
You begin to become completely bored by whatever is occurring to you right now.
Perhaps you notice it,
But you are deeply uninterested in any of it.
You begin to disengage from anything you are engaged with,
Allowing the thought to not carry information,
But to simply be that thought.
Spiritual Plato,
Ebbing and flowing.
You can choose to believe it or not.
So in this moment,
Again,
You loosen your grip on all of it.
Feeling your belief in it soften and release.
Foot off of the gas.
Allowing everything to be as it is.
No need to change or alter anything.
Just withdrawing your attention,
That's all.
And as you continue to rest here,
Softening away,
You begin to find yourself settling in to a space that exists simultaneously.
The space within which these thoughts arise and then fall.
Allowing yourself to almost disappear in between the spaces of thinking.
Seeing if you can almost allow yourself to float,
The thought becomes less important.
You begin to bathe in the space.
To be the space.
To exist as the space.
Just allowing the ebb and flow of thinking to come and go.
Giving yourself just a bit of space from it.
Allowing yourself the freedom to see it and not be it.
As you can remain in this space as we return home.
And whenever you feel ready,
Just allowing yourself to begin to bring your awareness,
The connection between your body and the seat below you and behind you once more.
Becoming aware of this space that your body occupies in space.
Noticing the sounds around you in all directions.
Feeling the sensation of gravity holding you down into your space.
Placing yourself behind your eyes.
Placing yourself inside of your body.
Just noticing that you are on the earth.
At your own pace,
Taking three long,
Slow,
Quiet,
Deep inhales and exhales.
In through the nostrils,
Out through the mouth,
Letting everything go.
Whenever you feel ready,
Just beginning to circle the hands and move the wrists.
Circling the feet and moving the ankles and just transitioning into stretching or moving any parts of your body that feel ready to stretch or move.
Whenever you feel ready,
You can go ahead and open your eyes.
