Today I'm going to take you through an inner journey to your heart.
We may live in our bodies but still be running away from ourselves.
We may get constant input from our heads but still be unsure about our genuine desire.
We may appear abundant from the outside but still be hollow inside.
This conflict causes great pain and the only way to resolve this pain is by finding our way home,
Our hearts.
Now close your eyes,
Adjust your position to make yourself comfortable.
Take a deep breath in and exhale with your mouth.
First let's bring our minds back to the present moment by observing our breath.
Watch the breath in and watch the breath out.
We don't judge,
We simply observe and continue breathing in and breathing out.
If the breath is slow,
Let it be slow.
If the breath is fast,
Let it be fast.
We simply observe as it is.
Breathe.
If your mind drifts away,
Slowly,
Gently bring the attention back to the breath.
Breathe.
Continue to breathe naturally.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Natural breath.
Now drop your focus to your heart.
Imagine you're sitting in front of yourself.
Offer the following faces to yourself by repeating after me in your head silently.
May you be happy.
May you be safe.
May you be healthy.
May you be free from any suffering.
Connect with the heart.
Keep focusing on your heart.
How does it feel as you say these faces to yourself?
Now repeat the same faces again.
May you be happy.
May you be safe.
May you be healthy.
May you be free from any suffering.
Continue to drop the focus to your heart level.
Now invite a friend to sit in front of you.
Let's start with a friend who is doing well.
Offer the same faces to this friend who is doing well by silently repeating after me in your head.
May you be happy.
May you be safe.
May you be healthy.
May you be free from any suffering.
Now think of a friend who is having some challenges.
Tune in to their feeling and imagine they're in front of you.
We repeat the same faces in our head.
May you be happy.
May you be safe.
May you be healthy.
May you be free from any suffering.
Now think of a stranger.
It can be a cashier in the market or a bus driver.
We repeat the same faces in our head.
May you be happy.
May you be safe.
May you be healthy.
May you be free from any suffering.
Next let's send our love and blessing to all beings.
