We are going to take a journey into self-love by getting grounded and opening our hearts.

First,

Let's get connected to our bodies and get connected to the earth.

Let's just take a moment and feel the ground beneath us.

Feel the connection from body to earth.

Take a deep breath in and absorb all of the energy from the earth.

And exhale.

As you do that a few more times,

Follow your breath as it travels up your body.

Feel it go through your legs,

Your bottom,

Up through your midsection,

To the throat and the face,

To the crown of your head.

Slowly exhale out through your mouth,

Releasing any worries or stress.

Give your heaviness to the earth.

Let it go.

Again,

A big breath in through your nose,

Getting all that sweetness from the earth below you,

All the way up through your body to the crown of your head,

And a slow,

Slow exhale,

Releasing any negativity or any thoughts you may be holding onto.

Feel your body getting heavy.

Feel the connection.

Feel yourself getting rooted,

And then let go.

Come back to a natural breath.

Close your eyes if you haven't already done so,

And just breathe.

Allow yourself for these next few minutes to be free,

Free from everyday life,

Free from stress,

Free from worry.

Just connect to your breath.

Just be.

Self-love is a vital part to living a happy and healthy life.

When we practice loving-kindness towards ourself,

The world around us becomes a much more harmonious place to be.

When we love ourselves,

We allow our hearts to be open and ready to receive.

For the next couple of breaths,

Take a deep breath in.

Feel your heart space expand.

Pause at the top and an open-mouth exhale.

Sigh it out slowly.

Feel your shoulders relaxing,

Your body softening.

Release any tension from between your eyebrows.

Bring your attention to your heart space.

Notice your heart.

Become aware of it.

What is your heart telling you?

Listen.

Each time you exhale,

Release any tension or negativity that lives in your heart space.

With each breath in,

Feel your heart opening up,

Drawing love,

Light,

And gratitude into those spaces you just released negative energy from.

Give thanks to your heart.

Thank it for all of the work that it does,

For beating without you having to think about it,

For allowing you to feel connected to everyone and everything around you,

For giving you life.

Give it thanks.

And now repeat after me.

I am powerful and I am grounded.

I am capable of mastering anything that comes my way.

I am proud of myself and all that I have accomplished.

I respect myself and treat myself with love and kindness.

I forgive myself for times I have not loved myself.

I am patient with myself and realize everything is happening for my benefit.

I am worthy of feeling completely loved.

My heart is open.

I am love.

Take your palms to prayer in front of your heart and let's set an intention together.

To get to know ourselves wholly and to not only accept our imperfections but to embrace them.

We are perfectly imperfect.

Let's take one more deep breath in.

Fill up your heart space all the way.

Take one more sip of air.

And then exhale through the mouth.

Place your palms,

One on top of the other,

Over your heart and feel it beat.

Connect to your heartbeat.

Really feel it.

Thank yourself for taking this time out for yourself today.

When you are ready,

Slowly blink open your eyes.

Give yourself a little smile and welcome to your beautiful life.

Namaste.
