Good morning,
My friend.
Welcome to this beautiful new day.
I made this short affirmation practice specifically for those recovering from neuroplastic conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome,
Chronic pain,
Fibromyalgia,
POTS,
And other chronic mystery illnesses.
These affirmations are a great complement to any neuroplasticity program or mind-body therapy.
However,
Even if you don't have any chronic health issues,
You'll still find benefit in these positive and affirming statements.
You can listen to this practice any time in the morning,
Whether you are still in bed or you've gotten up and found a comfortable place to sit.
I encourage you to either repeat the affirmations aloud or quietly in your mind,
But no matter what you choose,
It's important to try to feel them in your body.
Really try to tune into the energy,
The vibration of each statement,
And notice how your energy shifts as you repeat each statement.
So let's take a couple of nice,
Gentle breaths to begin.
Notice the feeling of the air passing through your nose and what part of your chest or belly moves as you inhale and exhale.
Follow your breath for a few cycles now as we begin our morning affirmations.
I get to choose the kind of day I have today.
I release any worries about how I slept or how I feel right now.
Everything I feel in my body right now is okay.
No amount of discomfort in my body can take away my peace of mind.
I have everything I need to feel my best today.
I am in charge of how I respond,
And I choose to respond with compassion.
Today I stay grounded in my body and honor my felt experience.
Today I allow any and all emotions to be present.
Today I focus on my strengths and capabilities.
Today I treat my body with kindness and gratitude.
Today I choose to have patience for myself and others.
My brain and body are always working to keep me safe.
Today is perfect just the way it is.
Everything is unfolding in my favor.
I accept that there is nothing to fear and nothing to fix.
I accept that I am not sick and that I am not broken.
Today I focus on the good in myself and the world around me.
Today I breathe gently and relax my body.
Today I focus on what makes me feel safe,
Loved,
And hopeful.
Today I release perfection and pushing,
And simply allow things to unfold.
I know that any discomfort I feel is temporary and no big deal.
Today I visualize what I desire and take steps to create conditions for my success.
Today I challenge my limiting beliefs and patterns in order to grow.
I don't let temporary discomfort stop me from living my life.
Today I am at peace with what I cannot control.
Today I release any expectations of the outcome.
I am here.
I am safe.
All is well.
