Yvonne studied under some of America’s most renowned yoga teachers in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her practice is strongly influenced by Ashtanga Yoga, Jivamukti Yoga, and classical Indian traditions. For nearly 15 years, she has taught at corporate fitness centers throughout Silicon Valley, led yoga retreats across California, Europe, and Asia, and taught at the prestigious Canyon Ranch retreat in Woodside, California. In addition to teaching, Yvonne is a Kirtan musician. She plays the harmonium and chants Sanskrit mantras, often weaving this devotional music into her classes. Known for her inspirational and accessible teaching style, Yvonne’s classes emphasize breath and alignment while interlacing yoga philosophy and a touch of humor. She skillfully integrates her deep understanding of anatomy, wellness, and fitness so that modern students can experience the full benefits of traditional yoga and meditation. Yvonne teaches a variety of styles, including Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative, Yin, and Kids’ Yoga. She is also certified to teach Mat Pilates, indoor cycling, and strength and cardio classes.
