Journaling is known to help reduce stress, organize thoughts, and improve overall well-being. Flow journaling helps us get all of our thoughts out, assists in letting go, and can increase creativity. This practice includes three journal prompts followed by 60 seconds for you to answer that prompt. The key is to write for the entire time, even if you have to repeat your thoughts, get off topic, or start over with the prompt. Just don’t stop writing. Today's topic is outside your comfort zone. Let's flow! Music by Chris Collins.

Greetings and welcome friends.

My name is Jessie and I am grateful you are here for five-minute flow journaling.

This session is designed to provide space and prompts to support your journaling practice.

Flow journaling helps reduce stress,

Organize thoughts,

Assist in letting go,

And can increase creativity.

Please grab your journal and a favorite writing utensil,

Open your notes app in your phone,

Or whatever tools you need to meaningful engage in this practice.

Each journal prompt will be followed by about 60 seconds for you to utilize to answer that prompt.

The key is to write for the entire time,

Even if you have to repeat your thoughts,

Get off topic,

Or literally write out,

I don't know what to write.

Just don't stop writing.

It is not meant to be perfect,

But rather to get you in the flow.

Today's topic is stepping outside of your comfort zone.

Let's begin.

First prompt,

Describe the last time you stepped outside of your comfort zone,

I.

E.
