Journaling is known to help reduce stress, organize thoughts, and improve overall well-being. Flow journaling helps us get all of our thoughts out, assists in letting go, and can increase creativity. This practice includes three journal prompts followed by 60 seconds for you to answer that prompt. The key is to write for the entire time, even if you have to repeat your thoughts, get off topic, or start over with the prompt. Just don’t stop writing. Today's topic is gratitude. Grab your journal, and let's flow! Music by: Chris Collins

Greetings,

Friends.

My name is Jessie and I am grateful you are here for 5-minute flow journaling.

This session is designed to provide space and prompts to support your journaling practice.

Flow journaling helps you reduce stress,

Assists in letting go,

Can help organize thoughts,

Increase creativity,

And overall well-being.

Please grab your journal and a favorite writing utensil,

Open your notes app in your phone,

Or grab whatever tool you need to meaningfully engage in this quick practice.

Each journal prompt will be followed by about 60 seconds for you to utilize to answer the prompt.

The key is to write for the entire time,

Even if you have to repeat your thoughts,

Get off the topic,

Or literally write out,

I don't know what to write.

Just don't stop writing.

It's not about being perfect,

It's about going with the flow.

Okay,

Today's topic is about gratitude.

Ready?

Let's begin.

First prompt,

Give thanks for all that you are grateful for in this moment.

Give thanks for all that you're grateful for in this moment.

Ten more seconds.

Okay,

Go ahead and finish up that thought.

The second prompt,

Look around your environment.

What brings you gratitude?

Look around your environment.

What brings you gratitude?

Ten more seconds.

Okay,

Go ahead and finish up that thought.

The second prompt,

Look around your environment.

What brings you gratitude?

Look around your environment.

What brings you gratitude?

Ten more seconds.

Okay,

Go ahead and finish up that thought.

Think about a past success and write out a thank you speech for that success.

Don't forget to thank yourself.

Think about a past success and write out a thank you speech for that success.

Okay,

Finish up that thought and if you're still writing,

Go ahead and keep with that flow.

Thank you so much for showing up today for yourself and your journaling practice.

I appreciate you.

I am grateful for you.

I am wishing you a magical,

Inspiring,

And wonder-filled day.

May your soul shine.
